Julie: a punk inspired card with stripe + skulls!
Hello again.
I've been playing with patterned paper ... again. [No surprises there then!]
I've been using the 6x6 Les Editions Ifocrea paper pad:
... to make a rather punk-inspired card:
The fabulously graphic turquise stripe background is from the pad, as is the check from which I die-cut the heart [above].
And ... if you're anything like me and you've got a certain soft spot for all things skull-ish and zebra stripe [as this card proves]...
... then you might like to check out these Lost Coast Designs border stamps that are currently in stock:
Skulls:
and ...
Zebra stripe:
They're just £2.00 each and, as far as I'm concerned, you can forget leaves and florals ... these are an absolute stamping essential!
Catch you next time.

Jan; Look after the pennies
and the pounds will look after themselves or so my mum used to say. To help me look after those pennies I made a few of these money boxes. I used a sizzix die to cut out the box.and covered them with a few of the gorgeous papers from the shop.
I've used papers from the Herboriste range
The pencils and numbers are border stamps from Lost Coast
This girl on a swing is sitting on pretty Pion papers
These last two are also from the Herboriste range.
Check out the shop and remember you have to speculate to accumulate, in other words buy the stuff to make the money boxes so you can save those pennies.

Julie: scrapbooking with the new InfoCrea papers
Hello again.
You know how Jean loves to bring you something you won't see in every craft shop? Well, she's done it again by stocking two new paper ranges from French scrapbooking company Les Editions InfoCrea ... and I've made a page featuring these bright graphic designs:
The star design, yellow spots and green hexagons belong to the InfoCrea 'Feu d'Artifice' 12x12 range which feels wonderfully 1980s retro to me! Just perfect to fit with the 80s fashion revival happening right now ... or to inspire you to dig out some old photos!
NOTE: When you click on the link to see the full 'Feu d'Artifice' range - make sure to visit each individual paper to see the equally fun and bright design on the reverse. I wouldn't want you to miss them!
Meanwhile the 2nd new range is a 6x6 pad which features all kinds of useful patchwork-style patterns such asspots, checks and triangles:
If, like me, you're a fan/addict of patterned papers ... they're worth a look! I'll catch you next time, until then don't forget to visit the shop to see what else has been added lately.
Julie
