It's In The Bag!
Just how cute.. (in a good way) is this stamp from Sweet Pea ?.. It's the perfect size for ATCs. Simply stamped and coloured with Pro Markers.
Or you could take it a step further........ scan your finished ATC and print out onto fabric transfer paper and make this cute bag.... just big enough to hold your lippy and moblie phone!

All Sorted!
You can never have enough rubber stamps........
I love this French Flea Market set from Purple Onion, perfect for making vintage labels to transform your everyday glass jars!
Just stamp onto scraps of paper...I used scraps of Basic Grey Koshi and a brown pigment inkpad to distress the edges.

More Pointy Fingers.........

I still love these stamps..............and there's more ideas to come!
I wanted to make something to display all those ATCs that were stashed away in plastic folders so this is what I came up with..
You will need..
Small pegs... mine were about 2.5cm, scraps of patterned paper and some twine.
Stamp a medium size hand onto your scraps and cut out.

It's Rude to Point!
I just love this set of stamps from Purple Onion Designs.... I have lots of ideas.. but here's one of them! You'll need a piece of florists wire, a peg and a square block of wood and patterned paper, Basic Grey Basics
Take the peg appart... Twist the wire through the spring of the peg. Stamp your pionty finger and glue to a scrap of chipboard, cut out. Cut a small circle of chipboard and cover with paper, stamp a design on...one of the Purple Onion date stamps would be perfect...................wish I'd thought of that before!
Drill a small hole in the block of wood. Cover the block with paper. Reassemble the peg

Glue the finger and the circle to the peg, glue the wire in the wooden block.... use Diamond Glaze or similar. Cute!

Organized?
or not?..... I like to take touring holidays in the USA... but they can be fast and furious and my memory is shocking............

So last year I decided to make myself a travel journal to take with me........ the idea being when I scrapped the photographs I'd know when and where I'd been. These stamps from Purple Onion were just the thing to mark the days and dates, they also made great page tabs!

Jack and Jill went..........
up the hill!.. we all know this nursery rhyme but do you know where it's origins lie? Now for the education bit! The Jack and Jill refered to are Louis XVI who was beheaded (lost his crown) followed by his Queen Marie Antoinette ( who came tumbling after).
You never know when this bit of trivia might come in useful! These Jack and Jill stamps are part of the Mother Goose collection and you can see them here
The door hanger is hand cut from chipboard and covered with scaps of patterned paper. The text is computor generated. The hanger and text are inked with the new Tim Holtz distress inks... Victorian Velvet and Pumice. and an old favourite Shabby Shutters.
Don't have the right colour flower.......... no problem just get these and use your inks to colour co-ordinate
Add a few Dew Drops for that bit of understated sparkle
Hope you like it!

Legs eleven!
When I saw these amazing images from Southern Blackberry Designs I thought wow wish I had legs like those! Mine are more the short fat variety.
Postcards sprang to mind as she reminded me of the saucy kind you used to see on holiday. I've used Basic Grey June Bug for the background. Stamps are Catslife and Purple Onion designs. The images from Southern Blackberry are printed on tissue and I've used a glue stick to back it onto the black card. I did keep the backing sheet (white) on though to keep the colour bright.
